On July 12, 2025, President Erdoğan delivered a historic speech in Kızılcahamam that shifted many long-standing paradigms. His address contained numerous explicit and implicit messages that deserve serious consideration. However, we do not believe that large segments of society fully grasped these messages. As usual, the mainstream media trivialized the matter, emphasizing “Emine Erdoğan’s tears” and thereby diluting the seriousness of the speech. Instead of engaging with the President’s statements, they focused extensively on the irrelevant topics raised by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who was trying to deflect attention from the political mire his party had fallen into.

Major moves are coming

When President Erdoğan declared, “The doors of the Century of Türkiye are wide open,” he was indicating that the barriers erected by Türkiye’s enemies—using terrorism as their primary tool—have now been cleared, and major strategic moves on a global scale are on the horizon.

His statement, “When Turks, Kurds, and Arabs unite, no force can stand against them,” is a significant emphasis. This sentiment, reflecting the spirit of Caliph Omar, Saladin, the Seljuks, and the Ottomans, suggests that Türkiye is ready to reclaim this historic mission and once again influence the flow of history.

The Sykes-Picot regime is being thrown away

His observation that “We lost when Turks, Kurds, and Arabs were separated and borders were drawn between them” refers directly to the 1916 Sykes-Picot Agreement, signed by the colonial powers Britain and France—and later approved by Russia and Italy—which partitioned the Ottoman Empire. He conveys that it is possible to eliminate these artificial, table-drawn borders and return to an era of trust and peace. By saying, “When hearts unite, borders disappear,” he signals the potential end of these imposed divisions.

Ships and weapons were burned; there is no turning back

Touching on past state mistakes toward Kurdish citizens and noting the end of denial and suppression policies, Erdoğan firmly declared, “We will remove weapons from among us and solve all issues face-to-face through dialogue.”

The symbolic act of the PKK burning its weapons carries deep meaning—reminiscent of the North African armies that burned their ships after crossing the Strait of Gibraltar into Spain, marking their irreversible commitment to advancing into Europe. This suggests that a return to terror is no longer on the table. After half a century of failed outcomes, this realization has become concrete.

No one will be humiliated

The President continued:
“We will heal our wounds and continue on our path with far greater strength and determination. As a nation, we have this confidence and will in abundance. Without hurting or offending anyone, and in full sensitivity to the delicacy of the process, we will facilitate its swift conclusion. We will monitor the weapon surrender process meticulously through the established mechanisms. To the mothers and fathers of our martyrs: we kiss your hands. No one can tarnish the sacred memory of our martyrs or stain their legacy.”
With these words, he reassured both the families of the martyrs and those surrendering arms that their dignity would be preserved.

A strong Türkiye is dawning, inspired by history

In this context, he invoked historical unity and said:
“Today, the spirit of Malazgirt, the Jerusalem alliance, and the nucleus of the War of Independence are being reshaped. The dawn of a great and powerful Türkiye is breaking. Now we will speak. We will resolve every issue through dialogue.”
Here, both a clear goal and a solemn commitment are being laid out.

AK Party–MHP–DEM Party hand in hand

Following this expansive vision, President Erdoğan made a move that shattered long-held prejudices and political routines:
“We will soon reach a very different Türkiye. The AK Party, MHP, and DEM Party—hand in hand and heart to heart—will build the Century of Türkiye together.”

This marks the breaking of a scheme that began after the 1960 coup, when the U.S. divided Turkish society into artificial ideological camps—Turkists, Kurdish nationalists, and Islamists—to incite conflict. Now, after nearly 60 years, these groups have seen through the deception and are uniting on the same front. This signifies the collapse of global hegemonic games. From now on, the AK Party, MHP, and DEM Party will act together as part of the People's Alliance.

The era of Muslims and oppressed nations

Erdoğan stated:
“The War of Independence was a joint struggle and shared victory of Turks, Kurds, Arabs, and many other Muslim peoples. Together, we engraved ‘La ilaha illallah Muhammadun Rasulullah’ into each other’s hearts.”
With this, he implies that such unity can once again be achieved. This points to a broader vision that transcends ethnic issues and aims to uplift all Muslims and oppressed peoples of the world.

His words— “I thank our friends, whose names remain with us”—carry a note of appreciation for the noble statesmen bringing this vision to life.

The emphasis on the Scythians in the historic manifesto

For perhaps the first time, the President highlighted a particularly important point: the Scythians (Saka). The Scythians were one of the ancient Turkish states, founded before the Common Era.

The Scythians ruled from the end of the 8th century BCE to the 3rd century CE—nearly a millennium. Their warriors conquered and unified vast territories across Eurasia, laying the foundation for what would become the Classical Age in the West, Near East, India, and China. Masters of the steppe and horse, the Scythians contributed richly to global civilization with their cities, capitals, refined fashion, governance structures, and philosophical thought.

Why did President Erdoğan refer to the Scythians? This is a point worth deeply considering. When one examines the maps of the Scythians—from Eastern Europe to the entire northern Black Sea region, the vast Caucasus, deep into Iran and Eastern Asia—the significance of this reference becomes clearer. The importance of this historical connection may be better understood in the years to come.

In essence, with this speech, President Erdoğan fired the starting signal for a new era.

The 2007 vision of the MIT (Türkiye) has entered a new phase

The strategic vision declared by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) on its 80th anniversary, January 6, 2007, has now entered a new phase. It is appropriate to remember with respect the former MIT Undersecretary Emre Taner, who articulated this vision.

Moves will come one after another

Türkiye has now outgrown its old limitations and stands as a major global power. Soon, we can expect to see the practical steps of this vision unfold one after another.

From Hagia Sophia to the Umayyad Mosque and Al-Aqsa

Following the liberation of Hagia Sophia, then the freedom of the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, and after that Al-Aqsa—and beyond... Let us be ready for new moves and new surprises in the region and the world.
Today and the future belong to the Turks, Kurds, and Arabs. No one can stand in the way or block this anymore. Victory belongs to those who believe in God.
