Economy and Business Council (EBC) is one of the three councils that work directly dependent on the presidency of the Institute of Strategic Thinking. The council follows the recent developments occurring in Turkey and around the world. Particularly when today’s global rivalry environment is considered, to produce strategies for home and overseas market gain much more importance than ever. In consequence, the council gives services such as; presenting the safest and realistic estimation for public and member firms, doing international market assessments, finding out solutions for the firms which they face in legal and commercial areas.

The council facilitates under directorship of Vice Chairman of the Governing Board, Ambassador (R) Nüzhet Kandemir and Member of the Governing Board Yaşar Aydın. Moreover, the council benefits from all boards, academic staff and advisors within SDE, in order to have utmost efficiency and short time to reach its goals.

Essentially, Economy and Business Council intends to strengthen its bonds with business world via sector representatives, thus to make better analysis and decide congenial strategies. In this context, SDE arranges common working groups in which to share mutual understanding for the members, gets into communication with foreign businessmen who tends to make investments/ any other business within Turkey, meet Turkish and foreign businessman in common conventions and produces publications in different languages.
